AEG’s Edinburgh Park arena, with a 8,500-capacity, is set to open in 2028. This will be Edinburgh’s first large indoor arena.
AEG Europe, which owns London’s The O2 Arena, Berlin’s Uber Arena, and 325 venues across the world, are working with award-winning developers and site owners Parabola on the new arena, which will span 18,500 square metres and attract an estimated 700,000 visitors per year. The arena hopes to host 150 shows a year including concerts, comedy shows, boxing and festival shows and will be located on the doorstep of the Edinburgh Park Train and Tram Stations.
