Edinburgh Park's New Literary Zine - Polaris

Edinburgh Park's New Literary Zine - Polaris

Edinburgh Park's first literary zine, Polaris, has been published. The pilot edition, collated on the autumnal equinox of 2023, focuses on Leon Kossoff’s ‘Minerva Protects Pax From Mars’ which has been woven into a tapestry by Edinburgh’s Dovecot Studio.

To celebrate the launch, Parabola hosted a poetry evening in Patina on Wednesday, 6th December 2023. Commissioned poets, Elle Nash, Rob A Mackenzie and JL Williams read a selection of their work. The evening was hosted by Janette Ayachi, Edinburgh Park's 'Poet in Residence'. Polaris will be a bi-annual literary zine for Edinburgh Park and will showcase the various art displayed on site.

The zine is a free publication, we encourage you to sign up to our newsletter and follow us on social media to keep abreast of planned activities, events and things happening at the park.
